A Special welcome to all military families.  We are pleased to have you as part of our community.  Whether you are a service member, a family member moving to Fountain Valley, or a resident veteran who has served our country, we thank you for your service.  Frequent moves, deployments, and transitions can make it hard for military families to establish strong, trusted networks.  The Fountain Valley Chamber of Commerce wishes to make this move easier for you.

OUR LOcal Military Community

  • Currently 32,066 people live in Fountain.  4,461 are Veterans per the April 2010 Census Data. 
  • Fountain is 5 miles from Fort Carson.  Hwy 16 (Mesa Ridge Parkway) leads straight to Gate 20.

  • Colorado Springs Airport is 13 miles from Fountain.
  • Military Spouses can use Pikes Peak Workforce Center.  It is a great resource for help in looking for a job.
